The Jersey Construction Council launched its charitable fund, The Brick Foundation, at the 2006 Jersey Construction Awards and it proved an immediate success with over £2,000 raised on its first night in operation. The purpose of the charity is to raise money to fund projects related to the Construction Industry and taking place in the local community. Each year more funds are raised. The Brick Foundation builds for necessity, not for profit, responding to the needs of the local community and laying down the foundations for a sustainable future.
