Sold Out 2023 JeCC Awards acknowledges leading industry figures

 
At a sold out event of over 450 people the JeCC 2023 Awards took place at the Royal Jersey Showground where industry businesses and achievers were recognised. The 11 awards presented at the gala dinner highlighted the extensive range of experience and talent and shows that construction is a key local industry and continues to plan for the future, whilst recognising young achievers and innovative ideas that will be crucial in the development of the islands built environment.
 
Tammy Fage who has been an integral part of the construction industry in her role as Director at the Health & Safety Inspectorate received the JeCC Lifetime Achiever Award at the gala dinner on Saturday night. Working closely with the industry over many years Tammy was recognised for her commitment to her role and liaising with the industry especially over the last 12 months following the tragic events of the sinking of the shipping vessel and the Haut du Mont explosion.
 
Emily Marie of Tillyard and Mike Porter from Andium Homes winning the Star of the Future and Industry Achiever awards respectively for their work in guiding the industry through a very difficult 12 months..
 
Once again hosted by ITV presenter, Jess Dunsdon, guests were entertained by The Three Waiters, Mica Young and guests were treated to an inspirational speech from JJ Chalmers with the evening ending with entertainment by local band Inside Job.
 
David Morris, Chairman of the 2023 JeCC Awards sub-committee thanked all those who had participated in entering the awards and to the judging panel for their hard-work in selecting the winners for this year.
 
As always, the Brick Foundation was a key beneficiary of the awards night, with a raffle that raised over £5,000 enabling the sub-committee to identify a further worthy project to commence in the near future.
