Social Distancing

A reminder to all those working within the Construction Industry that they must adhere to the latest government guidelines regarding Social Distancing whilst we are trying to combat the spread of Coronavirus.

The Council is engaging on a constant basis with government to ensure that the industry can continue working during this difficult time but if it is felt or seen that the industry is not complying with the guidelines that have been put in place then there is a danger that they will lockdown all sites which will then inevitably result in job losses, loss of earnings etc.

These guidelines must also be emphasised to all employees whilst both working on-site and when leaving the workplace.
