Following on from our last release that referenced the draft guidance on businesses preparing for Level 2 , we would like to confirm that as Level 2 has been reached Construction work is now allowed in occupied premises.
The Building Work and construction section of the Government website has been updated to read as follows -
Working in People's Homes
Construction work is now allowed to take place in occupied residences. All such work should adhere to the guidance for working safely in people’s homes. Where construction work in people’s homes requires 2 or more workers then a construction permit……must be obtained.
