The Jersey Construction Council (JeCC) is proud to share an important article undertkaen by our Chair, Adrian De Gruchy, recently featured in the Jersey Evening Post as part of its Business Election 2026 coverage.
In the article, Adrian highlights the vital role Jersey’s construction industry plays in supporting the Island’s economy, communities and long-term sustainability — while also setting out the practical actions needed from the next Assembly to provide confidence and direction for the sector.
Construction is far more than building projects. It underpins housing delivery, public infrastructure, employment, investment and environmental progress across Jersey. The industry supports thousands of local jobs and contributes significantly to the Island’s economic resilience.
