The Annual Brick Foundation Golf Day took place on Friday 6 September, drawing in golfers, and sponsors for a day of friendly competition and charitable giving.
Held at Les Mielles Golf Club under clear skies, the event was an overwhelming success raising £3,000 for the charity.
This year’s Golf Day attracted 40 participants from 10 different organisations for an 18-hole tournament with BCR Law coming out as Brick Foundation Champions for 2024.
Winners & Scores
- Overall Team Champion: BCR Law claimed victory with a score of 89 points.
- Best Individual Score: Michael Fox from ROK delivered an outstanding performance, finishing the day with a score of 38 points on count back.
- Longest Drive for men sponsored by RGA Consulting Engineers: Jonny Gough, Andium Homes
- Longest Drive for ladies – Tracey Blackmore, Les Mielles Ladies
- Nearest the Pin sponsored by Hawk Group – Don McBey, Style Group
Charity & Impact
More than just a fun day on the course, the Brick Foundation Golf Day has long been a key fundraising event for the charity, supporting its mission to provide community support on the Island. This year, the event raised just under £3,000, all of which will go directly toward ongoing projects.
This included donations to the raffle that was kindly sponsored by Romerils.
The Brick Foundation team is already looking forward to next year’s event, aiming to raise the bar even higher in both participation and impact.
