Rethink your Waste - Timber Reuse with Acorn Enterprises

Over 10,000 tonnes of timber is delivered to the Energy Recovery Facility every year as waste.  Must of this wood can still be put to good use.

The Government of Jersey and Acorn Enterprises are working together to reduce the Island's timber waste and find ways to reuse it to benefit the environment and our community.

Emma Richardson-Calladine, Recycling Manager, Government of Jersey and John Hill, Site Manager, Acorn Enterprises would like to invite members of the Jersey Construction Council to a short presentation outlining why timber reuse is important and how members can get involved.

The presentation will be followed by a tour of the Acorn facilities, particularly focusing on the Acorn Woodshack.  For further informatio on the work undertaken by Acorn Woodshack can be found by clicking here.
