Colin is a Civil, Structural and Conservation Engineer With over 40 years’ experience. Educated on the island he has achieved membership of the institute of structural engineers and the institute of civil engineers and has an Msc in historic building conservation. With this experience and skill set he leads the foremost multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in the Channel Islands. He has a detailed understanding of structural behaviour, the deterioration and failure mechanisms of structural elements and building fabric and specialises in Historic Building Conservation. He also believes strongly in achieving sustainable design, something he promotes and encourage in his team of engineers. Colin sites on a number of trade committees, constantly encouraging improvement in the industry and engagement with the government.
