Our charitable arm of the Jersey Construction Council, (JeCC), have completed an extensive refurbishment of the toilet facilities in Dodo Cafe at Durrell Wildlife Park.
The four week and £58,000 project which was delivered to Durrell completely free commenced on the 5th January and was officially opened on the 27th February. It was a collaborative effort from several JeCC member firms who have donated their time, resources and materials heavily discounted or free of charge to give back to the community.
The new facilities will improve the infrastructure of the Park in time for the new tourist season and to help generate much needed funding for their great conservation work. Many premium bookings have been lost in recent years due to a lack of adequate facilities on site, so the upgrade to the Dodo Café will help secure events, conferences and weddings.
Of the many projects we have undertaken, this is the largest scale project we have been involved with and on that the Jersey Construction Council are very proud of.
